About Core Insight


Core Insight Chiropractic is a multi-disciplinary practice operating across two St. John's locations — Aberdeen Avenue and Empire Avenue - with a team of five experienced providers offering chiropractic and massage therapy, and special interest programs including care for athletes, performers, pediatrics and complex craniofacial conditions, Core Sports, Core Creative, Core Kids, and Core Cranial.


Our Aberdeen Avenue clinic is a busy, well-established general practice serving a broad patient base including athletes, professionals, families, and Veterans. We treat/adjust full body, addressing common spinal complaints and extremity problems. We are a direct-billing clinic with strong insurance relationships and a busy, well supported administrative team.


The Opportunity


We are looking for an Associate Chiropractor to join our Aberdeen Avenue team. This position is designed for the right practitioner looking to build a thriving patient base within an established, supportive clinic environment. For a newer practitioner this position can start part time with progression to full time. We are also open to an established practitioner who is looking for a new opportunity.


You will step into a clinic with existing patient flow, a professional admin team, and experienced colleagues - not an empty room. This role offers the opportunity to practice your full scope, develop your clinical identity, and grow within a practice that genuinely invests in its providers.


What You'll Do

  • Provide evidence-informed chiropractic care to a general patient population including musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, acute injuries, and maintenance care
  • Apply soft tissue techniques as part of a comprehensive treatment approach
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate them clearly to patients
  • Collaborate with fellow providers in a team-based care environment
  • Participate in collaborative patient management and contribute to the clinic's culture of thorough, patient-centred care
  • Maintain clinical documentation in Jane App in a timely and thorough manner


What We're Looking For


Required:

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure with the Newfoundland and Labrador Chiropractic Board (NLCB)
  • Some exposure to soft tissue therapy - ART, Graston, cupping, or equivalent; we will support further certification
  • A genuine interest in the craft of chiropractic and in continuing to develop your clinical skills


Strong assets:

  • Training in acupuncture or dry needling (contemporary medical acupuncture, functional dry needling, or equivalent)
  • Comfortable with learning a variety of adjustment styles - diversified, low-force, instrument-assisted, etc.
  • Experience working in a direct-billing clinic environment
  • Familiarity with Jane App or similar practice management software
  • 1–2 years of clinical experience in a private practice setting - new graduates with strong clinical instincts are encouraged to apply

Location:Core Insight Aberdeen - 40 Aberdeen Avenue, Suite 103, St. John's, NL.
Hours: Part-time to start - pathway to full-time.
Start Date: Flexible - open to immediate or negotiated start
Compensation: Structured to reward growth - details provided to shortlisted candidates
Direct Billing: Yes - all major insurers including Medavie Blue Cross, Canada Life, Manulife, Johnson
Reports to Dr. Janice Drover, DC, RCCSS(C)
