Core Creative
At Core Insight we understand the unique demands of performing artists and consider artists performing athletes. Whether you are a singer, dancer, instrumentalist, gymnast or actor, the demands placed on your physical body to perform your craft are often very specialized and unique.
With over 40 years of personal dance training and 25 years as a Chiropractic Sports Specialist Dr. Janice Drover (link to bio) is well suited to address your issues. In the creative space, "normal" movement patterns rarely exist. The movement demands placed on performing artists often include extreme ranges of motion and repetitive stylized movement that is often misunderstood. With Janice's experience she will work with you to understand the unique biomechanical demands of your craft, to create a personalized plan to address your needs from the studio to the stage.

What to Expect in a Core Creative Visit
Initial visits will include an in-depth history and physical examination. Janice will often review any diagnostic imaging that may be available and any video footage that has been provided that can assist in the assessment and diagnosis of a patient’s condition. Examinations involve movement assessment, so please wear some comfortable clothing. If time permits, treatment can be provided during the first visit. Based on the findings in your examination we will work with you to develop an appropriate treatment and rehabilitation program based on your personal goals and aspirations. Dr. Drover is passionate about meeting patients where they are and is always willing to collaborate with other health care providers and coaches or teachers to fully support the artist.
