Core Insight COVID-19 Procedures
Please be advised that as of August 24th, 2020, as mandated by the Department of Health of Newfoundland and Labrador, masks will be required by staff and patients at all times while in the office.
Below you will find a chart outlining some of our new protocols for the clinic. Detailed descriptions of our Covid-19 policies and procedures will be available in the clinic upon request.
We look forward to connecting with our patients in our “new normal” environment. Rest assured that we are committed to providing the same quality of care you are accustomed to from Core Insight, in as safe of an environment as possible.
Sincerely,
The Staff of Core Insight

Protocols
Sanitization
Pre-Booking Screening
Patients must pass a series of specific questions either by phone or email when scheduling their in-clinic appointment.
Masks and PPE
Chiropractors will be wearing masks while at work. Chiropractic patients will be required to wear masks while in the office and to receive treatment.
Massage Therapists will be wearing masks and PPE while at work and will require patients to wear their own masks during treatment.
Clinic Wide
All staff members will be involved in the ongoing cleaning of the facility. High traffic common areas will be cleaned and disinfected regularly throughout the day. Debit machines will be cleaned in between transactions.
Day-of Patient Screening
Patients must pass a series of specific questions when checking in for their in-clinic appointment. On the first visit back to the clinic there will be a paper form to complete and sign. Subsequent visit screening will be done verbally by the front desk staff.
Appointment Arrivals
Please do NOT come EARLY or LATE for your appointment. Being on time is essential to allow for proper flow of patients in the clinic. We will be unable to accommodate late arrivals for appointments.
Unless absolutely necessary, please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment. We also request that you please bring as few personal items as possible with you into the clinic.
Treatment Rooms
Treatment rooms and patient care/contact items will be disinfected after each patient visit. Time has been allotted between patient visits to allow for proper disinfection.
Staff Screening
All staff (front desk, chiropractors and massage therapists) must pass daily screenings prior to starting their daily shift.
Social Distancing
Though our clinic usually has a very relaxed atmosphere, due to the current situation we cannot accommodate people in our waiting room. To ensure social distancing (2 meters) we have limited the number of chairs, and we ask that you please limit your time in the clinic.
Plexiglass screens have been installed on the front desk counters for the protection of our employees. Please ensure that you stay behind these barriers when interacting with the staff.
Hand Hygiene
Upon entering the clinic and/or prior to entering a treatment room, patients are required to wash their hands with soap and water. Hand sanitizer will also be available throughout the clinic.
We please ask that you also either use hand sanitizer or wash your hands prior to processing your payment.
